UFC Fight Night Hidalgo Starts On Saturday Night

Texas: UFC Fight Night is starting on Saturday night in Hidalgo, Texas and is headlined with Dustin Prior vs Michael Johnson.

Dustin Prior is aiming for the light heavyweight title, has won all four of his previous fights at 155 and win against Michael Johnson will put him at the forefront of a title shot.

Prior said at the UFC Unfiltered podcast, ““This is going to be my eighteenth fight—two in WEC and fifteen already in UFC, all the time saying ‘I’ll fight whoever they want me to fight’, it’s time to start making some demands and get a gold belt wrapped around my waist.”

He further said, “We’ll see what happens. I feel good and I’ve had a great camp. I’m going to go in there and put this guy away and then we will see what’s next. I know I’m close—I’m getting real close.”

The co-main event is highlighted by Uriah Hall vs Derek Brunson.
