US President Donald Trump has strongly condemned the killing of dozens of civilians in northern Syria, apparent a chemical weapons attack by Syrian air force.
President Trump said his view for Bashar al-Assad and Syria changed he stated, “I will tell you, it’s already happened, that my attitude towards Syria and Assad has changed very much… You’re now talking about a whole different level.”
Trump stated, It was an “affront to humanity”, he added, “When you kill innocent children, innocent babies, little babies… that crosses… many lines.”
President Trump haven’t named Russia in his criticism, as Russia already denied for the involvement in Syrian chemical attack, it claimed that chemical weapons with ISIS might caused such brutality.
J at UN Security Council debate in New York said, “Time and time again Russia uses the same false narrative to deflect attention from their ally in Damascus,” she added, “When the United Nations consistently fails in its duty to act collectively, there are times in the life of states that we are compelled to take our own action.”
Russian defence ministry official, Igor Konashenkov said on Tuesday, “Syrian aviation made a strike on a large terrorist ammunition depot and a concentration of military hardware in the eastern outskirts of Khan Sheikhoun town.”
Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem on Thursday said, “I stress to you once again that our army has never used chemical weapons and will not use chemical weapons,” he said, “not only against our civilians, our people, but also will not use chemical weapons against the terrorists who are attacking our civilians with their mortar shells and killing civilians.”
