Palestinian: Hamas released its soften policy document for the first time

Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on Monday, for the first time had declared the acceptance of an interim Palestinian state within the borders of year 1967 except the exsistance of Israel which occupied Gaza stripe since that year, the new policy document released by Hamas chief Khaled Meshaal is believed to soften its image.

This recent policy document claims that its fight is not focused over Jewish community, meanwhile they are fighting against the “occupying Zionist aggressors.”

Last charter of 1988 by Hamas was refused due to the oppose of Jews in it, Hamas is the controlling body at the Gaza strip, which is now intending to make its image better.

Fawzi Barhoum spokesman of Hamas said that, “The document gives us a chance to connect with the outside world,” he added, “To the world, our message is: Hamas is not radical. We are a pragmatic and civilized movement. We do not hate the Jews. We only fight who occupies our lands and kills our people.”

Meanwhile west including Israel believes Hamas a terrorist group, and not taking its commitments seriously, A spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Hamas is “attempting to fool the world but it will not succeed”.

“They build terror tunnels and have launched thousands upon thousands of missiles at Israeli civilians,” David Keyes added. “This is the real Hamas,” Israel claims.

Hamas turned to such statements at the time when the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is going to have a meeting with the US president Donald Trump, Hamas is not intending to make Palestine an independent country, as for the very first time it has accepted the past border of Palestine, but still not excepting the Israel’s existence it again left the issues unsolved, but a bit relaxed this time.
