Former Iran President Ahmadinejad was declared ineligible for coming elections

Tehran: Iran former president Ahmadinejad is declared as ineligible for the coming presidential elections of Iran.

Irani media reported, that the supreme body of Iran, Mr Showrai Negahban has declared the former president of Iran ineligible in the coming elections on May 19, as the former president of Iran Ahmadinejad last week had filed documents to participate in the coming presidential elections.

Previously he announced for not participating in the May 19 elections, afterwards just days back he decided to participate ones again for presidential elections.

Meanwhile the Irani Supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei already insisted Ahmadinejad to avoid any further participations in presidential elections, but he said that this was just a suggestion of the Supreme leader, and aims to become a president for another turn.

Ahmadinejad already been the president of Iran from 2005 to 2013, in August 2013 after completing his time period of being a president he left the President office and palace.
